The Listening component of the CELPIP entails listening to passages and answering questions. You will hear passages related to problem solving, daily life, information, news items, and lectures, among other topics. Listen to passages and answer questions. The questions for each Listening part come after the audio.
For each question, choose the best answer from four options. Each question has one correct In each Listening part, you can change your answer(s) as much as you like until the time for that question or section is up.

When your time is up, the test will automatically move forward to the next screen. You can’t go back to a previous part of the test. The audio passages and questions increase in difficulty from Parts 1 – 6.
The Reading Test takes about 55-60 minutes to complete. Reading is the second part of the CELPIP Test (after Listening). You will receive paper and a pen at the test centre to take notes. You will not be able to make notes, highlight, etc. on the computer screen.
All text and questions for each Reading part appear on the same screen. Use the scrollbars to move up and down. For each question, choose the best answer from four options.

CELPIP Writing is the Third module in the exam order. There will be 2 Tasks in the Writing module. Each Task you should write your answer in about 150-200 words. You have 27 minutes to complete Task 1 and 26 minutes to complete Task 2. This allows you enough time to plan and check each response.
The Speaking Test takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. Speaking is the last part of the CELPIP Test.
The Practice Task is optional. You can complete it or not; it’s up to you. Nobody will listen to the response. However, it is recommended that you take the opportunity to warm up your voice and check that your speaking volume is good before the scored tasks begin.
For each task, when the preparation time is up, the screen will automatically move forward. You will hear a prompt (“Start speaking now”) and recording will automatically begin.
